Nietzche and my Grandmother

Choices are what set people apart from each other. In this compilation of essays, one of the main philosophical points that Dr. Mustafa Ulusoy makes is that people are born with more or less the same stuff. Of course there are some discrepancies but what really separates Nietzche from the author’s grandmother is that at some point in his life, Nietzche made the decision to be skeptical about absolutely everything, and the author’s grandmother did not. What makes us different is the choices that we make. More than that, every time we choose one direction we eliminate all of the other options. And these choices change everything. This is just a stepping off point for a lot of the psychological, philosophical and even spiritual issues which are covered in the book.
