Metropolis İslam

Faith in the big city.
Half of the worlds population lives in cities and one out of seven people on Earth are Muslim. This leaves us with probably a great number of muslims living in cities. How do we reconcile the seemingly opposing ideas of the modern urban megacity and a traditional belief system like Islam? This book takes this question head on. It examines the problems that arise in this conflict and offers ideas on how to solve them. Further, it notes the places where the two ideas unexpectedly overlap, and how to make the most of this cooperation.
